Kirsten Brecht Baker is a serial entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience building technology-based companies that solve everyday problems. Currently, Mrs. Baker is the Co-Founder and CEO of Jeenie, a product by GPS Inc. – a mobile platform that provides human-to-human language interpretation on a cell phone – via video or audio - from anywhere in the world at anytime.
Prior to Jeenie, Mrs. Baker co-founded four other companies—serving as CEO for two of them–in the areas of online marketplaces and cross-cultural market development. Mrs. Baker also worked for Monitor Company (a leading strategy consulting firms acquired by Deloitte) and as the Chief Marketing and New Markets Officer for an international non-profit organization concentrated on education, language immersion, and multiculturalism in over 80 countries. She has a diverse background working in company and team building, strategy, and international growth expansion for organizations from start-up to Fortune 50 status. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Political Science and Russian from the University of Pennsylvania.
