Shulman Rogers - NEXT Program for Startups

Company Description

  • Currently, Lisa is the Business Development Lead for NEXT, powered by Shulman Rogers, that serves startup and emerging growth companies with fixed fee legal and business services. Lisa joined Mindshare as the CEO of Activity Rocket back in 2013. Activity Rocket was sold to west coast edtech company Thrively in December 2017. Activity Rocket revolutionizes the multi-billion dollar kids activity marketplace with an end-to-end platform serving activity providers, parents and mommy marketers. The problem: parents are frustrated with the disconnected, time consuming process of finding, comparing, sharing, and organization of kids activities. The Rocket's centralized one-stop platform directly connects parents and local activity providers for kids ages 0-18. Parents get organizational and social networking tools, reviews, discounts, and educational blog content. Providers directly connect to parents; resulting in increased referrals/registrations. The Rocket also collects targeted data on the activity marketplace, parent and vendor behavior, and purchasing patterns. Activity Rocket is the solution.
