Mindshare in 2012. Founder/CEO of Diamond Mind, the nation’s leading provider of payment services and solutions to independent schools. Diamond Mind began in 2003 out of two spare bedrooms, in between loads of laundry and raising two sons, then ages 2 and 4. The company grew national prominence serving over 1200 clients in 48 states. We bootstrapped for over 12 years, bringing in a PE partner only two years ago. This summer (2016) we exited completely, as Diamond Mind has become part of a larger organization.
Passionately committed to the role and value of independent schools in our country, as well as the payments industry and the use of technology to remove payment friction.
Currently focusing my energies on a few things; starting a small new company with my son, the Mindshare Alumni Board, serving on another board of a company called Folio Cooperative (goal setting software and methodology for independent schools) and working on several personal projects.
I’ve been told I have a Forrest Gump like background. Having been academically suspended from a community college at age 18, I managed to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business at ate 24. Originally from Poughkeepsie, NY, I have lived abroad for years in places such as England, Japan, France and Russia, and traveled far beyond as well. I served in the USAF as a Russian linguist in the early/mid-eighties, and am a strong supporter of our veterans.
I live in Potomac, Maryland with my husband (and business partner) of 23 years, and my two teenage sons, ages 15 and 17. My boys attend Georgetown Preparatory School.
